Got back from the theater a bit ago (got butter on my new H&M shirt, dammit) ... saw the new/live-action redo Disney flick "The Little Mermaid". It was vivid, heartfelt and truly wonderful! Halle Bailey was phenomenal as Ariel. Her voice and acting was a coral reef at sunset, all color and full of vibrant life. Melissa McCarthy ATE as Ursula. She vamped, tentacles swirling about, adding texture and menace to delightfully evil scenes.
