@ the Movies: "Better Man"

I got a chance to do a Secret Cinema night at Harkins and was excited to discover the film would be Robbie Williams's "Better Man", his sensational bio pic con musical. Starting with his childhood, his absentee dad, and a whirlwind into fame at such a young age, the film held me close and pushed me away to only bring me closer again. Watching Robbie destroy himself, fighting himself endlessly, and then redeem himself is a catharsis. A painting of grief made of sound and images. The music is phenomenal and turning himself into a literal animal was a brilliant choice. 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿

@ the Movies: "Sonic the Hedgehog 3"

It's about the Jim Carrey of it all. Playing the evil Robotnik and his equally mustached grand pop-tart (aka grandfather), Carrey easily steals the show. Sonic and his extra-dimensional buddies but zoom to the challenge. Filled with lots of flash and little sizzle, it's not bad, and has a nice message for the kiddies about making good choices. 🍿🍿🍿1/2

All arounds. And here's today's pic ... It's a rubber ducky with a top hat from my relaxing bubble bath earlier post-workout (I did lunges and squats yesterday and holy fuck my legs are sore).
