Summer is quickly approaching. Living in Arizona I always kind of cringe at the idea of shadow-hopping again, worshipping the AC unit like some false, chilly God. But the Earth keeps spinning and tilting to and fro ... I guess I'll choose to be grateful for the consistency.
Below we see two sparrows as they pant in the midday heat. They were no doubt rummaging through Frank's garden, looking for insects, perhaps a watermelon seed yet to sprout.
