All things end, including this wonderful trip with Shar, Sheld, Aaron, Kaitlyn, Noah, Holly and my sweet puffball, Gianni (who was called a "cloud with legs" a couple of times this trip). We just wrapped a tasty af dinner at the Lacey Rose Saloon. Fancy and delicious.
Most of today was rain, thunder, with spikes of lightning. Periods of heavy hail filled the green yard of Powderhouse with splotches of white. I played Zelda as Gi slept in a puddle of fleece blankets. This week of Colorado will go down as the wettest and coldest yet (there was even snow flurries a couple of the mornings).
While no hikes were accomplished, spending quality time with Kaitlyn and Aaron especially, will be dear memories.
