I deeply long to move away from modern social media. I feel it's making our society crazy and cruel, deepening unnecessary divides. I long to not participate in such nonsense while I still yearn for my little digital stage in the computer world. Sharing. Speaking up. Creating. These are vital parts of who I am.
So, with that said, I want to share my three songs that spoke to me this month, be they new, or old, or somewhere in-between.
First up is newbie pop princess Sabrina Carpenter with a hilarious, morbid video co-starring everyone's latest fav, Jenna Ortega:
Next, it's got to be this track from Wilder Woods. How sexy is that name? Not super familiar with him, but it's got a great beat and has an emotional urgency I find compelling:
