A Mickey Halloween

While planning on venturing to Cali with my brother and niece, plans changed, and I adjusted, shifting my Disneyland reseeez to the day before and day of Halloween. What's more extra spooky then riding the Haunted Mansion on the actual Halloween!? Not much, I assure you. The trip was fun, if not a bit stressful leaving Bear and Gianni behind in the adequate motel room whilst I played. They spend chunks of time in their kennel when I'm at work so it's not unusual or unkind, but Bear especially has a hard time when we're someplace new and being kenneled. His sense of being "left behind" looms large. I adjusted again and made sure to not be gone too long. The crowds were medium in scope, nothing too horrible. I enjoyed eating at the Lamplight Lounge in California Adventure (amazing salmon citrus salad) and River Belle Terrace in Frontierland in Disneyland. Going to the parks on my own is a relatively new phenomenon to me. It's not as fun to not have a loved one to hoot and howl and shop with ... but I've always been my own personal bestie so I make do. Life is as life is these days. Below are ten of my favorite pictures.
