To you and yours, I wish a warm and wonderful Thanksgiving.
This year has felt super long so a pared down dinner this year felt fitting, I suppose. Star and I cooked our favorite dinner for the thirteenth year, a long running custom that I've truly come to be grateful for, solid rock in a storm ... We're like a machine now, moving from dish to dish with a maestro's grace and timing. Buttery deliciousness on pumpkin-styled plates. Satiated, I sit on my porch listening to my neighbors play with their kiddos, wait to head to the movies for "Moana 2", and think about those not here today. Life changes so fast, with so many things out of my control. We love. We laugh. We keep walking into tomorrow.
